What does Ferment On Premise in Newfoundland and Labrador mean for me?

As a consumer, you can come to our urban winery and retail store where our highly trained and capable staff will guide you through everything you need to do to craft your own wine using our state of the art equipment and processes. You do not need to take up space in your home as it is stored at our winery until it is ready for you to take the bottled wine home to stock your personal wine cellar.

How easy is it to craft my own wine?


So easy! With the guidance of our trained staff, we are there to guide you through every step of the process!

How long does it take to craft my wine?

You visit us for 5 to 15 minutes on day one to mix the ingredients and sprinkle the yeast. When it is ready to be bottled in 4 to 8 weeks, our staff will call you to schedule a time to come back for approximately 30 minutes to bottle and package your customised wine.

Why should I craft my own wine?

It’s convenient – crafting your own wine and keeping your cellar stocked, you’ll always have bottles on hand!

It’s eco-friendly– when reusing your wine bottles, you reduce the amount of glass that needs to be produced for wine consumption. Also, recycling your corks using our partnership with ReCork ensures that your corks do not make it to the landfill. Instead, they are repurposed into new items.

It’s fun– craft winemaking is a unique experience that is stress free. You have the opportunity to make wine how you like it and you’ll have fun learning about the winemaking process!

It’s easy – Our professional winemaking staff will guide you through the process! You just need to mix the ingredients and come back in 4 to 8 weeks to bottle it and take it to it’s new home to be enjoyed by you and your family.

What’s Included?

After purchasing your ingredients from our selection of the industry leading products, you will pay a small winery fee that would include the usage of all of our fermentation equipment and the storage of your wine as it ferments from grape juice in to wine. Our experienced and trained staff of winemakers will monitor the progress of your wine and prepare it for the final stage of bottling ensuring that it is filtered and clear. Your bottles will be sanitized in our 30 bottle capacity bottle washer and you will be provided with the corks needed to package your wine. You can purchase labels and shrink seals to put the final custom touch on your personal wine.
